Product Evaluation & Placement (PEP)

At Hytech, our Product Evaluation & Placement (PEP) process starts with a thorough understanding of farmers’ requirements. We work closely with them to enhance their agronomic practices and identify the perfect products to ensure & fulfil the expectations of farmers. Our team conducts extensive trials and on-farm demonstrations nationwide, evaluating hybrids in real-world conditions. By comparing our hybrids against industry leaders, we ensure superior performance. Moreover, our responsibility goes beyond seed sales, providing personalized agronomy recommendations to optimize yields, including plant population, seed treatment, fertilizer management, irrigation schedules, and pest control. Our commitment is to support farmers throughout their journey, ensuring successful outcomes and maximum benefits.

Double Haploid (DH)

Our research is bolstered by Double Haploid (DH) technology, a revolutionary breeding method that accelerates the development of pure, homozygous lines. Through DH technology, we can rapidly produce uniform and genetically stable plant lines, enabling us to bring innovative hybrids to market more efficiently. This pioneering technique, combined with our expertise in crop genetics, strengthens our ability to develop high-performing and genetically superior seed varieties. To achieve this, we have strategically established production centres across diverse agro-climatic zones in India. Our production sites span across key states such as Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Telangana. Each location has been carefully chosen to optimize seed quality and cater to specific crop requirements. With this meticulous approach, we ensure that our seeds flourish in the most suitable environments, resulting in exceptional performance for farmers nationwide.

Advanced Processing & Conditioning

Hytech Seeds excels in processing and conditioning seeds to optimize their quality. Our state-of-the-art centres focus on preserving vital parameters like germination and seed health, while enhancing physical characteristics and seed conditioning to retain its inherent quality parameters (Germination, G.P.). Through meticulous steps tailored to each crop, we remove impurities, retain ideal moisture levels, making relevant seed treatments and ensure superior seed performance. With our state of the art processing units in Telangana & Rajasthan regions, having the advantage of additional resources and capabilities, supported by conditioned godowns with a sufficient storage capacity. We trusted for our exceptional seed processing and conditioning, empowering farmers with top-notch quality for outstanding results.

specialized units located in AP & TELANGANA states. With a remarkable capacity, these units efficiently dry seeds from a moisture level of 32% to a desirable 9%. Our advanced technology includes a maize Sheller, ensuring gentle seed removal from cobs without compromising germination and vigour.

Hytech Seeds ensures superior seed storage without compromising quality. Our conditioned godowns maintain a constant temperature of 12°C (±2°C) and a relative humidity of 40% (±5%). Equipped with air conditioning, dehumidification, and 100% power backup, our facilities guarantee medium to long-term storage without any loss in viability and vigour. Optimal Quality/Quality Assurance

Hytech Seeds is committed to meeting world-class quality standards, ensuring farmers achieve optimal yields for maximum profitability. Rigorous quality control and assurance measures are implemented both in the fields during production and at our processing plants.

In the fields, our dedicated quality assurance team conducts independent inspections at critical stages of hybridization operations, supplementing the regular inspections by the production teams. To uphold total quality management, seeds undergo comprehensive assessments, including STL and Grow Out Test (GOT).

Seed Testing Laboratory (STL)

At the STL, our state-of-the-art facilities conduct thorough verification and reporting of key parameters, including physical appearance, moisture content, physical purity, presence of other distinguishable varieties, as well as germination and vigour tests. Our Advanced STL ensures accurate and reliable results. Annually, we test approximately 200,000 samples for germination, physical purity, and vigour, reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality seeds to farmers.

Grow Out Test (“GOT”)

Hytech Seeds conducts the rigorous Grow Out Test (GOT) each season to ensure the genetic purity of our seed samples. Over thousands lot samples are tested on our specialized GOT farms. Our well-qualified production staff meticulously supervises the tests.

Only seeds that successfully pass all prescribed tests are deemed suitable for marketing. These seeds proceed to undergo further processing and packing, guaranteeing the highest quality standards upheld by Hytech Seeds. Trust in our commitment to genetic purity for superior seed performance.

Molecular GOT (MGOT)

Hytech Seeds implements the Molecular grow out test(MGOT) methodology as part of our quick & innovative seed testing process. MGOT results within a week, whereas standard GOT will take nearly 60 to 90 days. And also ensures genetic purity and stability. By conducting MGOT, we can confidently verify the consistency and reliability of our seeds in a short time, guaranteeing that they meet the highest standards of quality. This rigorous testing methodology reinforces our commitment to delivering superior seeds that enable farmers to achieve optimal yields.
